Good body and acidity, Laura’s favourite of the evening.
Go to the black pig, bring your kids, share plates and drink good wine by the glass (or bottle). — 9 months ago
Lovely, classy Beaujolais village level gamay, 2020 vintage enjoying early in 2024.
Goes well with cheese and crackers and staying indoors on cold winter nights. — 3 months ago
This the ...100% not the pur ju but idk if there was a name change and it’s still the same bottling. Twiggy and crisp, pomegranate and cranberry leaf the way. Put your Patagonia on for this one. But a fine bevvy — 3 years ago
Just what I want in a Crozes. So earthy and mineral on the nose. Just wafting out of the glass with dirty crushed granite and feral scents. Some rich blackberry fruit and dried beef too. Broad and very open on the palate. Rich savory flavors all over the place. Some tannin provides a bit of scaffolding, but this is all about now. (I sometimes refer to a good Crozes as “slutty” Syrah, but I probably should avoid terms that have historically been used disparagingly, even though I mean it in a good way!) — 3 months ago

Maybe it bit too full bodied for my taste, but it easily balanced itself with acidity. A fine production. — 16 days ago
