Lovely bright mid gold with a fleck of green. Nose fresh and lifted, clean as a whistle (no Kero) pithy citrus. The palate is alive. Gripping fine acid keeps you coming back to the glass. Not overly complex but beautifully balanced. This bottle still has time in its legs. — 5 months ago
Got the last ‘03 bottle!! cherry and plum on both the nose and palate with slight mushrooms and earth tones. An excellent wine that hasn’t appeared to age. Shout out to Bird & Jim - if you are in Estes Park you MUST stop here. Great food and an excellent wine list! — 3 years ago

Surprisingly good, all the traditional champagne notes and then a few extras, great way to celebrate. Hint of sherry perhaps? — 4 years ago
This was incredible. All the complexities of great chardonnay are there - citrus, cream, mineral, brioche, roasted hazelnuts. Bready/mealy flavours are pronounced (malo) Perfect balance of fruit intensity and structure. For A$60 this is a steal! — 2 months ago
Good. Great value. Nothing crazy — 2 years ago
Birthday dinner wine. Clay pot, dried cranberry, a little balsamic. Jared cooked ribeye, sautéed mushrooms, risotto and salad. Great pairing! Knocked it out of the park! — a month ago
Polished domestic Merlot. Very savory on the nose. Almost classic Bordeaux in style , green olive and olive tapenade. Oregano and thyme with just a hint of oak hut not overly in your face. Beautiful inky hue. Lots of great tannin and acidity on the backbone of this wine. Plenty of room to keep aging. Blackberries and blueberries upfront. Fantastic finish that lingers without feeling big heat. Very well balanced at 14.5% — 8 months ago
Great for drinking in the park after your wife gets tenure. — 4 years ago
