My first Ardberg and it left quite an impression. Gosh! This was like eating bacon and smoking cigars. Ron Swanson should be drinking this instead of Lagavulin 😂 Truly, it feels like someone decided to bottle up that campfire by the sea that's been drenched in bacon fat from dinner the night before. With water, the marine quality becomes more apparent, but that smoke just remains. Only with great concentration can one discern some fruit notes (citrus). The finish is just all about that endless peat. Surprisingly, this whisky was quite "smooth" despite all the extremities it brought. Definitely need to taste more Ardbegs to understand what's going on - not displeasing, but for now, Talisker's more up my alley in the category of peated whiskies. — 5 years ago

The name is correct - light, fruity (but dry) bubbly. Fun to share. I will get this again — 5 years ago
Just concluded the annual Fall seclusion at our cabin in the Rangeley lakes region of Maine, mobile service up there is mostly non-existent, after several days I am posting again. Notes are somewhat brief, as my focus is relaxing and watching the Common Loons swimming and diving in the cove in front of our camp.
Nose has tart green apple, sugared water, white grapefruit slices, cold under-ripe peach and classroom chalk.
Palate has tart green apple flesh, red apple peel, lime zest, lime juice, light limestone paste, lively with medium finish and fun acidity. — 6 years ago
Just, just... just wonderful.
Initially, I get quince and a slight licorice that isn’t overpowering. Peach, of course.
The intangible here is just the well rounded character of the whole thing. It’s hard to nail down, but it’s got this savory, sweet, umami, bitter, acid quality to it that just brings a sip to the very edge of paradise as a flavor, a taste, an experience.
I’m glad I went for the gold here. I love drinking the canned sake and the 300 mL bottles when I’m going solo, so I upped the ante a bit and went for the mid-tier higher selection and it paid off. — 6 years ago
Fruity bright. Made in a daiquiri like cocktail. — 2 years ago
Opened another recently, legendary wine, said that in the 18th century was introduced to Sultan of Constantinople's palace b/c of its clarity and called "mineral water from Carbonnieux", defying Islamic law. Pale lemon with pronounce aromas of tropical and stone fruits with herb notes. On the palate flavors of melon, mango, apple, green herbs and a crisp mineral edge. Medium+ length, balanced acidity, ending with a fruit, citrus mineral character. Nice, aging well. — 5 years ago
Very nice blend - would def buy again — 6 years ago
Holy water! Sooo good. Melon, vanilla, and pear. So well balanced. — 6 years ago
Refreshing as water. Salmon in color- classic Provence. Grapefruit and apple notes. Slight minerality. Smooth finish. Great grocery store option. In a blind tasting I would never guess this was a celeb wine — 6 years ago
Sweet on the front, chili on the end. Great balance! — 7 years ago
