A really great wine that shows that cabernet from Argentina can be elegant and subtle. — 7 years ago
An extraordinary wine, sincerely recommend! — 7 years ago
Had a 2014. Owner says 94 by Robert Parker... totally believable as wine is excellent, fresh, acid with an almond aftertaste...love it — 8 years ago
Nose: plums, dark cherry, tea, blackberry, dust. Color a little light for cab - but smells more refined than the color would suggest. Tastes good - smooth, medium weight, not as silky I would like - but nice flavors of cigar and graphite and some spice and mildly bitter herbs (bay?). Doesn’t have the weight or mouthfeel I prefer, but the flavors are definitely above average. I like it! Good deal at $14. — 5 years ago
Dark, matured; very earthy with tones of ripe red fruits; long finish . Lasted over night. — 7 years ago
Tastes like Christmas. Not a fan of the other Bolfan offerings, but this one is a stone cold hit. A bit over-priced, but good. — 7 years ago
Really delicious and absurdly good with tonight’s pasta — 7 years ago
This stunning Grenache was sourced from Monette's Vineyard in the Walla Walla Rocks region. Prior to bottling the wine was left on the lees for 18 months in neutral French oak barriques. This wine begins with aromatics of rose petals, white flowers, Mandarin orange rind and potpourri. This leads to flavors of red cherry, strawberry, orange zest and strawberry jam. This is pretty, downright sexy wine and absolutely irresistible at this juncture. While less acid-driven than the ’14 bottling, this outstanding wine is just as good and even more impossible to put down as the gorgeous aromatic and flavor range shines through. Only 103 cases made of this absolutely stunning Grenache, which is one of the best of its kind in Washington state. Drink 2019-2029- 95 — 7 years ago
Had on the night we listened to Primus and bought a bunch of concert tickets. Big Nose guy recommended. Really interesting complex and leathery, but drinkable! — 5 years ago
This six-grape blend is as aromatic as one might expect from Carménère, PV, Merlot, Syrah and Cabs Franc and Sauvignon. There is much dark fruit on the nose, along with cigar box, leather, cedar and licorice. The palate is bold, too, with a complex flavor profile and tannins which are useful but not overpowering. — 6 years ago

Pale salmon color. Aromas of strawberry, white peach, and Granny Smith Apples. Bright wine! Nectarine and rose petals on the palate. Listening to Tales from the Punch Bowl. Primus Sucks! @Claypool Cellars — 6 years ago
