Rich fruit nose, lighter, crisp and acidic taste, cranberry forward. — a year ago
Claus brought the heat. Never had this vineyard. I finally believe in German Pinot. Wow. Reminded me of 27 latache. A bit of spice, stems, but not green. And pure elegance. Featherweight and ethereal! — 2 years ago
Exceptional nose super dark berry blackberry concentrate. Mouth is nicely acidic. Not cloying earthy — 2 years ago
Exceptional. Juicy black current with slight and satisfying pucker, rich, deep flavor; medium to light body; a reverie — 4 years ago

Essentially Chasselas, Fendant. Called Gutedel in Baden/Germany. Remarkable 10.5%. Dry crisp and juicy. I am biased. Have been to Staufen and i believe Baden is really the most interesting Wine Region in the World almost everything grows from Syrah, Pinot, Syrah, Muscat and more. Gutedel is a wine one drinks almost out of a Stein. A wine for the masses. This example is more nuanced with a touch of raw hazelnut, hint of lemon 🍋, hint jasmine and almond blossoms. Hint Brett. Robust and delicate at the same time. Depends on your mood I guess and ones mood in the moment. 30$ in the US over there often <10Euro. Give it air! 15 min in the glass. Warm it up a little. It turns into a beauty with notes of orange blossoms. — a year ago
