Dark reddish purple with near black core. Inviting nose and medium full palate of ashy blueberry, red blackberry, and high-cocoa dark chocolate. Dusty, medium plus tannins present (but not assertive) from entry. Medium acidity wrapped up in it all, and a lengthy finish wraps it all up. Classic California PS with enough stuffing for the connoisseur, but still enough approachability for the novice. Drink now through 2030. — 3 years ago

First bottle of the 2010. This is gonna be a really special wine but I think it need another 5-7 years. Tannins and softened, fruit is there, acidity is still strong, and don’t get me wrong it’s great now with a couple hour decant, but in a few years it’ll be really nice. Getting black, blue, and dark red fruit, ripe and juicy. Man so silky in the mouth. Graphite, stone, forest floor, cedar, hints of camphor, black licorice. Wonderful. Nice medium + finish. Pale reddish in color. Pretty color.

Fruity nose and medium in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with mild complexity.

Showing raspberries, cherries, red currants, earth, light chocolate notes and spices.

Tangy finish with soft tannins.

This is a very tasty Grenache blend from Columbia Valley. Elegant and nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel. Feels like a Southern Rhone red.

Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.

A blend of 77% Grenache, 13% Mourvèdre and 10% Syrah. Aged in used French oak barrels for 21 months.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

The description: The 2022 Pinque has classic strawberries and cream characters along with watermelon and a touch of Szechuan pepper. The 2022 vintage was warm and dry and correspondingly this wine is relatively low in acid making for a very smashable wine, although like all our wines there is plenty of subtle complexity to delight the taster. Enjoy! The opinion: in total agreement.
