Astoundingly, confoundingly delicious. — a day ago
Tasted double-blind. The 2015 Movia is a departure from the typical Sauvignon Blanc experience. This becomes immediately apparent when presented in the glass; showing a hazy golden color that makes me believe this bottle has seen 10-15 years of cellar age. On the nose, I was reaffirmed that this bottle was likely quite old as it was showing notes of canned peaches, butterscotch and sherry-like notes. On the palate, marmalade and cashews. The high acid of the wine was holding everything together. It turned out that this wasn’t all that old, rather made in a more oxidative style. Charming in its own unique way…I really dig this! — 17 days ago

2019 “Hydra” Sparkling Goriška Brda, by Kabaj.
First Slovenian Pet Nat! Woot!
Lite & tasty notes of Golden fruit, honey, stones, floral, apricot nectar with a lemon twist. Similar notes on the nose.
Slight haze, some loose lees notable.
Eager bubbles, heard the bottle pop from other room. Crown cap with plastic stopper underneath. Good stream bead and saturation.
13% ABV
If you are in the SF Bay Area, highly recommend pairing with Dish n’ Dash Chicken Shawarma Wrap; Jerusalem Style (Hummus/Eggplant/Cauliflower). Good pairing synergy.

My favorite orange wine! Crowd pleaser. Light and delicious. — 2 days ago
Pet Nat rosé. A beautiful salmon color with a hard candy nose... strawberry, cherry and watermelon jolly ranchers. More dry on the palate but still some fruitiness, and lingering minerals. Get to Know Pet Nat class.
Mild aromas of apple skins, light on the palate with light effervescence and apple skins, a slight sweetness and some lingering minerality. — 7 days ago
