Popped and poured; enjoyed with a selection of cheeses. The 2007 pours a deep amber color with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with unctuous notes of dried apricot, honey, and candied nuts. On the palate, the wine is sweet with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish is long. Seems like it will have a long life. Drink now through ????. — 10 months ago

From 0,375l.
So unique, so rare. Equally thick, concentrated and complex.
What a privilege to savour this elixir.
Dark nuances of dried fruit (dates, raisins), mocha, spicebox, orange marmelade, earlgrey tea and honeysuckle.
Endless finish....
Heartwarming and humbling...

vintage 2016 | Walnuts, hazelnut, figs, candied orange, intense and complex, with a surprisingly beautiful acidity. Very fine indeed. And curious: vin santo from sangiovese. Paired with Bastiaanse Blauwe and fat clove cheese. — a month ago
