Wow what’s not to love there! Lemon curd and lemon peel, chalk, white flowers, a bit of petroly thing too. The palate is a great acid backbone and everything else is a complement to it. There are some lemon juice, lemon peel notes dancing around Yes, there is some width, almost a viscosity quality to it on the fringes, some grip in the rear, before a great long lemon curd, honey, lemon peel finish that is lasting for ever. There is clearly SR in there, but it's so well integrated and balanced that it's super fresh and fun. You gotta love it! For 14 Eur in the Hamburg airport it's a steal. — 10 months ago
Good but will be so much better with age. Crisp and fruity Kabinett. — 23 days ago
Abbreviated notes from the morning after an amazing gathering of family and friends the day after my daughter’s wedding (which was MORE amazing than the wines!).
Such brightness, lightness, and intensity all together. Electric. — 2 months ago
Nose: screaming mineral and green apple.
Palate: green apple. Intense. Mineral. Juicy.
So moselian

Vintage 2015 | Now I understand the reputation of the Doctor. Textbook Riesling. | One anecdote I never forgot. Michael Broadbent wrote that his honeymoon was to the Mosel. And one of his deepest wishes was to make love to his wife in the Doctor. He wrote it dry and witty, as only British could. Very credible. | paired with salmon and shiitake. — 6 days ago
