Fontanasanta Vigneti delle Dolomiti Manzoni Bianco 2022

Like this a lot. Rich yet savory, a bit of salt. A grüner veltliner layer cake. — 5 days ago

I Muri Puglia Primitivo

Fantastic primitivo to be a companion for lunch every day. Not too strong as other primitivo exemplars, just just right 👌 — 8 months ago

Vigneti Massa

Costa del Vento Derthona Colli Tortonesi Timorasso 2022

2022. Worked with the sommelier to find a wine to pair with grilled octopus with harissa and walnut sauce, and grilled chicken, chanterelles, and Carolina Gold rice. This creamy bodied, nutty, stone fruit flavored delicious wine was perfect. — 24 days ago

PnP. Dark red color. Cherries, stewed red fruit, and a little alcohol on the nose. Refined on the palate with dark fruit. Lovely texture and well balanced. Sticks to the palate with a complex finish. Very happy. — 2 months ago

Fuoripista Vigneti delle Dolomiti Pinot Grigio 2018

Amphora, skin contact Pinot Grigio from Foradori. What’s not to like. This is amped up Pinot Grigio, savory, a little tannic and delicious. — 6 months ago

Antichi Vigneti Propri Riserva Barolo Nebbiolo 1964

Love it when older bottles don’t disappoint. Not the 64 Monfortino, for sure, but not a slacker. — 14 days ago

Tenuta San Leonardo

Terre di San Leonardo Vigneti delle Dolomiti Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2018

Terre di San Leonardo is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (40%), and Carmenere (10%), run by the Gonzaga family since its inception in 1724. Wine is fermented with ambient yeasts in concrete tanks and 20% is aged in French oak barrels. Ruby with aromas ripe red fruits and floral notes. On the palate flavors of rich plum and blackberry with herb, light spice and slight earthy notes. Medium+ finish, fine soft tannins, ending with fruit, floral and earthy mineral character. Tremendous value! — 2 months ago
