The goal was to only pour out half with the Coravin. This wine had other ideas. The whole Magilla came out and man was it nice. Perfectly blended and packing lots of power as well as finesse. So glad this is in its drinking window. Nice change of mix from Italian wines. — 7 days ago

Medium garnet core , quite narrow terracotta rim . Spiced earthy summer fruits, blackberry , cherry , blackcurrant , some herbal hints , vanilla , tobacco, grafite and iodine. On the palate this is quite fine boned , with refreshing acidity and medium ripe , rounded tannins , balanced alcohol . More herbal and dark fruited on the palate , blackcurrant , blackberry and cherry , spiced vanilla tinged dark cherry . Tobacco and grafite tinged medium length finish . Still drinking well , this is at peak now so drink over the next 2-3 years . — 2 months ago
