My first Cornalin. Grapey nose. Also a saucey consommé like effect. Darker color than the Pinot. Very fragrant and pretty. Lifted and bright. Mineral, floral, pastilles and also an expansive vibe. Very nice. Palate has really great fruit. Lovely purity and concentration and woodsy flavors. Really elegant tannins but intense. Very fresh. Very energetic. Lights out. — 12 days ago
Sickness. Citrus, tangerine, insane spice, orange rind, matchstick, perfumed like nothing else. Mineral and airy. So beautiful. 9.5 on the nose. Palate is brilliant. Chewy, textured and pure. Amazing purity. Nimble yet textured. So elegant. Love petit arvine. So complex and textured. Long finish. So nimble. Great wine. Terrific grip. Such purity. Could be a 9.5 but needs more density. — 13 days ago

Just an incredible wine. While obviously young it is truly elegant and beautiful stuff. It’s got a purity to the Pinot fruit that is just amazing. The nose is a little woody right now but none of it translates to the palate which tells me it will integrate quickly. There’s serious minerality as well. So floral. Spice and incense. So aromatic. The palate is a masterpiece. A Pinot lover’s dream. So luscious. So much pure mid season cherry fruit. Hint of sweetness. So tangy, so ludicrously luscious. Amazingly ripe and just perfect tannins. Wow. Sweeter with air and just terrifically restrained concentration. Notable length. This is buttah! Love this estate. I’ll be back once it airs. 9.6 for now. Nose is getting more integrated and the wood has receded into the background. Superb spice. Incense store. Under that a deep penetrating minerality. — 4 days ago
Has a harder edge than some of the other petite arvines I have been trying. More minerality, and more oak. But no prominent vanilla and less rounded mouthfeel but still dense. I like it, seems more serious. — 10 days ago
Nose is pretty grapey to start off. Also some lovely granite tones. Deep, pure though. Blind I’d never say Syrah. Gamay. But dark gamay. Really floral, lifted and haunting. Now some dark berry Syrah fruit comes out. Very high toned. Palate is concentrated and fresh. Lovey elegant tannins filled with sweet and dark fruits. Nose also has some interesting herbal elements. Palate is getting really tasty now. Pure and deep with fantastic structure and grip. — 13 days ago

Great sweeter white wine. It was recommended to try with some cherry syrup which was fabulous. — a month ago
Gorgeous Swiss Pinot from Maienfeld. Nose is bright, high toned and beautiful. Lovely mid season cherries. Sour cherries and such purity. Really refined and aromatic. Also an earthiness that is really reminiscent of Burgundy more than Germany. The palate tho is where this really picks up steam, unreal texture and just so stunningly beautiful. Wow. Opulence on the mid palate then this gorgeous, cleansing mineral finish. So finessed and filigreed. Nimble and energetic. Decadent sweet fruit awash in minerals. So refreshing but also complex and deep. This is excellent. The energy, stunningly pure and unique fruit and how mineral this is really stand out. Superb wine. So excited now to taste the pilgrim. The higher end wine. — 13 days ago
