was served too cold, couldn’t get an accurate smell. drank this with Valentina who says she taken your classes she says hi! dark fruit taste, but not too bitter, smooth finish — 2 years ago
Very good value for money a great wine. Had it with lemon pasta and the pairing was a great hit. Make sure too drink it at room temperature to get the full benefit of this wine. I had it a bit too cold which closed it up a little, but have also had it at the right temperature and then it even works well on its own. Lots of berries and very well rounded wine, seldome found at this pricepoint. — 4 years ago

The best white wine in the world. Chardonnay Langhe. With Paolo and Valentina, and my son Davide. Memorable — 2 years ago
Outstanding balance. New and old world. Great fruit with baking spice, some tobacco, excellent tannin, and lingers on the palate. I hope this is what Idaho Bordeaux style continues to produce. Well done! — 4 years ago
2019 vintage.
100 % Montepulciano d’Abruzzo grapes.
On the nose, raspberries, tobacco, leather, with bay leaf and herbs.
Flavours of dark cherry, tar, blueberries, licorice and spice. Medium bodied with fresh acidity on the finish.
It’s inexpensive and delivers for the price.

Artesana is a small production, low intervention, terroir-driven producer of beautiful Uruguayan wines. 🙌🙌 🇺🇾
This wine was made from grapes grown on estate vineyards, harvested by hand, with sustainable farming practices. 🍇🍇
It is a deep ruby hue, offering concentrated aromas and flavors of tart black cherry, black currant, plum, nutmeg, cedar, anise, pepper, vegetal and green notes, alongside meaty characteristics.
It is balanced with good fruit concentration, refreshing acidity, high alcohol (14%), and soft tannins.
It’s comprised of Cabernet Franc (55%) and Merlot (45%) from the region of Canelones, Uruguay.
Acclaimed female winemakers Analía Lazaneo and Valentina Gatti have left us inspired and excited to try more from Artesana.
@Delectable Wine This is the Cabernet Franc and Merlot blend. 🙏🙏 — 4 years ago

This reminds me of how good Valpo’s used to be in the 60s and 70s before ripassos and appassiamento took over. (Possibly a tad riper thanks to global warming, though.) Ripe crunchy berry fruit, a bit of spice, almond extract, and some kind of non-oak wood (even though the back label says oak) in the lively nose. Soft and lively in the mouth, with a nice cleansing bitter note growing on the finish. Medium-light body. No tannin to speak of. Yummy pasta or pizza or salumi wine. Drink now. — 4 hours ago
