Super duper crushable. This wine is the very definition of a summer wine. 100% Falanghina. The color of a sunset, this pours a slightly hazy copper salmon. On the nose it’s white flowers and stone fruit. On the palate, it’s ripened apricots, peach skin, rhubarb and bitters. Finish is lasting. Balanced. Works with simple meals. I truly hope Valentina has nothing to do with her Father’s (allegedly) shitty business practices. A truly compelling quaffer.

Lots of apricot, a whiff of orange blossom, and a sprinkle of salt. Not as much funk as many of Valentina Passalacqua's wines but depending on your taste, that can be a positive or a negative.

Excited to taste Valentina Passalacqua’s famous Progetto Calcarius wines. Light, unfiltered orange wine made with Falanghina grapes with 5 days of skin maceración from vineyards in Apricena (Puglia), an area known for its limestone quarrying - hence the name. Citrusy and refreshing
