A16 San Francisco -- Sorry in advance that my wine selections are so Southern Italian heavy!
Super unique one-off Dolcetto - accidentally harvested late and they turned it into a wine that’s drinking well almost 20 years later. Definite earthy notes that are on the same level of cherry and plum tones. — 6 years ago
So happy to have opened this up and seen how well it held up. So sad I didn’t see how it was just a little longer in the bottle. — 7 years ago
Excellent. Smoke, cherry, and a redwood forest like note. Super soft but present tannins and acid is still bright. Very grateful for this one. — 5 years ago
Truly his best iteration of Donnaluna Fiano. Captures the herbaceous scrub of Paestum with the body of Fiano. — 6 years ago
In celebration of my sense of smell coming back, we opened this tonight and it was such a treat. Dark and rich on the nose with the soft tannins attributed to the acidity with goes for days. — 7 years ago
A lot stewier and slightly higher in alcohol than I remember from prior vintages but still an exemplary Salice Salentino. Love Li Veli’s work. — 6 years ago
Such a special wine, from a special vineyard, by a very talented winemaker. Great sneak peak of the potential this wine has and I can’t wait to taste it again years from now. — 6 years ago
Earthier nose of chamomile and oxidized yellow apple. Rich palate but with nice acid and huge minerality. — 8 years ago
Artichoke and nettle with underripe cranberries. I might be sipping it a bit past the arc. — 8 years ago

Briny, tart, with fun apple notes. Love it more after time in bottle than when it was first released. — 4 years ago
