Torre D'orti

Allegrini

Palazzo della Torre Veronese Corvina Blend 2021

One of the wines that has made Allegrini famous, vineyard surrounds Villa della Torre. A blend of about 40% Corvina Veronese, 30% Corvinone, 25% Rondinella & 5% Sangiovese, deep Ruby with aromas of dried berry fruit and black pepper spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with vanilla, figs and licorice notes, good balance, lively acid with fine chewy tannins. Medium finish ending with fruit, mineral and earthy spice. Nice value. — 9 days ago

Torre d'Orti

Amarone Della Valpolicella Corvina Blend

Very nice black pepper at first nose. Cherries, blackberries and acidity in mouth. A little bit high alcohol. Amarone as it should be. Rounded, soft, flex but full bodied with very gentle tanins. Should be a little bit generous to get a higher rate. But overall a great wine. Just a great choice for amarone mood. Always have it in my wine rack. — 3 months ago

14.5% but doesn’t come across that hot. Prettier than it should be. But solid backbone. Red fruited. Charming. 2019 — 5 months ago

Azienda Agricola La Torre

Ampelio Tuscan Red Blend 2019

Such a nice drinking wine with strong dynamic flavors and not breaking the bank. Oiled leather and plums jump right out. Medium bodied and medium tannins. Some jammy fruits and tobacco. Great blend. — 3 months ago
