Orange Blossom Mandarin Wheat

It smells and tastes of mandarin, it’s lightly alcoholic, it’s a pleasant light wheat beer, lightly hopped, when it’s hot and you are dehydrated, which happens in the desert six months of the year, this is a better option than any sports drink. Sure, no electrolytes here, but it tastes a dang sight better than those sports ades. And orange blossoms? Very Arizona. Drink local — 5 days ago

Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 1990

Drinking so beautifully for its age. Showing its complexity. Really floral on the nose, still has tart cranberry & currant with acidity still present supporting its structure. Red apple, raspberry, blue & black berries on the mid-palate, with mushroom & earthy finish. — 3 days ago

Bedrock Vineyard Heritage Red Blend

130 year old vines. This is a field blend in heart of Sonoma Valley. This is a dark inky smooth sipping red wine. A real champ. Dense and complex. — 2 days ago

Wirz Vineyard Riesling 2019

Beautiful ripe notes of peach, apricot, pineapple. Dry, but not excruciating so... some nice ripe fruit sweetness that works with food. Turkish kabobs and rice pilaf with chicken, lamb, beef, and chicken. Long, juicy finish. I find most rieslings too sweet, but this was really balanced and 13.5 ABV. — 6 days ago

Lorenzo's Heritage Dry Creek Valley Red Blend

OMG was this good. Surprisingly accessible in its infancy. The wine is clear and light colored red with very mild tannins. Loaded with dark berries, both the sweet and acidic side. As it got a bit more air, the 65% Zin in the blend showed through with delicious jammy-ness. The rest of this shipment go in the cellar for a least a few years.. — 8 days ago

Haynes Vineyard Syrah 2011

This was excellent cool climate syrah—to paraphrase another reviewer, in the style of northern rhone minus some of the more feral elements and with a bit of CA warmth in the form of dark berries and cocoa. Another hit from Enfield — 20 days ago

Bien Nacido Vineyard Syrah 2015

2015 Vintage. 15.1% Alcohol. Wow, this is now in it’s prime drinking window. Big fruit with good acidity and velvet mouthfeel from resolved tannins. Loved it. Mmm... Bien Nacido fruit from Santa Barbara. — 4 days ago

Phigment California Red Blend 2018

Color of different shades of purple. Nose of ripe cherry. menthol, oak, strength of alcohol, warm and vanilla. Taste of sweet dark fruits, mellow tannins, a bit chocolate and vanilla, quite chewy, some ripe grapes, a bit tobacco leaves, and a bit zesty. Aftertaste is clean, shows some more tannins, oak, and vanilla. Reminds me of Bogles Phantom. Not bad. — 17 days ago
