Much fruitier than the barbera but bolder and dryer as well. Sweet and almost sour note on nose. — a month ago
Great white blend from tasting event at Craft. Crisp refreshing for California. Great for a hot patio. — 4 days ago
Lighter than the pagliaro, and not as good but still very good. — 2 months ago
The nose shows candied orange peel, lemon peel, apricot, honey. The palate is showing a great acid drive, superb matter on the side, even a tiny thickness on the sides, some orange and orange peel notes, a big bright apricot note, some honey and then tannins in the rear that leave a gentle drying layer over a long orange peel, apricot, honeyed finish that goes on for ever. There is a tiny bitter note that blossoms in the very end. Complexity, texture, fruit, matter. This packs it all. The initial barnyardy notes blew off after a short while. This is again great stuff ! — a month ago
Good! Hefty! Some cinnamon/nutmeg up front upon opening, mellows a bit later. Tasty! — a month ago
