Wow! It is so rich. Golden color! Almost Sherry like! — 3 months ago
Powerfull well rounded blueberry and black currants. Soft tannins carrying pepper leather and tobacco. Well balanced with acidity that rounds out the red fruit flavors the wine is abundant with. — a month ago
Very good. Slight aftertaste, but not in a bad easy. — 2 months ago
Rich Pinot Noir from Oregon that is Burgundian in style. Masculine Pinot Noir with deep dark fruit and earthy flavors. Excellent. — 4 months ago
Smooth with a little bite but not too much that it’s overwhelming. — a month ago
Drinking in 2025. Plums and dark fruit on nose, hints of tobacco and smoke on front of palate. Sorta gets lost after a great start, with short unremarkable finish. — 2 months ago
On the jammy side. Too overwhelming — 4 months ago
2022 vintage. Light-medium/medium body. A quiet, furtive wine that gains strength with time. More of an OG-styled Oregon release. A pleasant reminder of yore and u-turn from all too many sound and fury efforts that, ultimately, end up signifying nothing. Apologies, Bill. 04.09.25. — 7 months ago

Excellent vintage. Medium garnet color with a dark core and pink rim. Aromas of red cherries, lavender, sweet spices, rose petals and musky earth. Plentiful cherry, raspberry and mulberry fruit on the palate with additional flavors of Asian spices, black tea and cola. Long and lingering finish (just goes on and on) and impeccable balance. Medium-light body but a beautiful mouth coating texture. Fine grained tannins. Just so elegant and complex. I enjoy the entire Purple Hands lineup, but the Shea single vineyard option is consistently outstanding! — 2 days ago
