Slovenian orange-y pinot grigio(sivi pinot).

72hr macerated on skin.
aged on lees with some oak used.
medium + body (skin influence I'm told).
high bursting acidity.
melon, peach, blossom, grapefruit and a hint
nutiness.
balanced and lovely with extra mojo.
ok vfm (80 nis)
works well with evening's dish washing after a hard day locked down with the kids while my wife is not here getting ready for court appearance in a few days.
no food pairing as I was tasting the leftovers all day long. — 6 years ago
bought a threesome of feldstein's wines.
second time for me.
last year it was different whites. this time it's differant vintages sauvignon blanc and a rose.
100% grenache dry rose
picked early to save the natural acidity.
12.5% ABV
peach transparent 👀
lemon, apricot, flowers and grass 👃
light body.
high acidity.
bursting citrus tartness with apricot and hints of red 🍒 👄
light 🎯
thin and light yet not simple.
super drinkable (bottle downed easily with breakfast)
a perfect easy meal companion.
great vfm (90 nis as part of a threesome)
very gastronomic. worked well with guacamole, home made labanhe cheese, spinach pie and assorted vegetables. — 6 years ago
@delectable this is sauvignon only officially (90 percent so it doesnt count as a blend even with that semmilon bit)
no real conditions for a tasting but this is so lovely i have to try describing it.
90% sauvignon blanc
10% semmilion
three types of yeast were added to fermentation.
one year burgundy barrels ageing.
13.3% abv
medium plus body.
high acidity.
mind and senses blowing sauvignon blanc.
melon, grass and bell pepper 👃
bitterness first with added citrus peel and some tropics 👄
light 🎯
complex and balanced lingering pleasure.
this is superb.
3rd white from feldstein and it keeps getting better.
super vfm (for 90 nis as part of a threesome. regular price is 125 nis and still worth it)
paired well with zaatar and 🍅 spicy salad and homemade hummus and pita bread.
my highest score wine in delectable. — 7 years ago
Electric Chenin. Sexy ingenue having a threesome w iconic Italian cinema producer couple — 9 years ago

First red we tried out of the threesome from Dane Cellars. Dark ruby red with purplish hues. Seemed very tight to begin with, just a little chalk and some black berries. Nice dark berries and cherries on the palate with some moderate tannins (6.5/10). Some cinnamon and nutmeg over a savory undertone. Literally melted on your tongue. Savory undertone with some floral herbs. Moderate plus bodied with a slight dry long finish. On day two and three it developed some more complex and lighter nuances such as truffles and cinnamon. Still holding together with a decent amount of tannins. Not as fruity as some of the fruit bombs out of Napa but definitely one of the best Sonoma Cabernets we have experienced so far. Drink till 2023. — 10 years ago
My favorite red from thumbprint! Full of complex flavors and just the right amount of tanin. I need to have backup bottles of this — 4 years ago
part of the monthly threesome from
cheers.co.il wine club.
wines i didn't pick but are supposedly choosed according to my taste.
i let my son cover them in tinfoil then i open and try to guess.
this one is a north Portuguese white blend made from three indigenous varieties :
bical, cercial and sercialinho
12.5% abv
medium + to full body with mostly citrus variety and hinted stone fruit.
it's power and lack of tropics made me guess it's 🇫🇷 sauvignon blanc. but its so sharp i was thinking chablis is another option.
it's so balanced i thought maybe some oak sorted it all out.
i was confused but impressed.
impressive punch all in all.
paired well with medicore Asian take away of sushi, pad thai and plain white rice.
great vfm (around 100 nis) — 6 years ago

Second of the threesome reds from Dane Cellars. Dark garnet red. Very gamey attack on the nose with savory notes such as iron and grilled herbs. Day one on the palate mirrored the nose, notes of iron, pepper and meat. Moderate tannins (6/10) and moderate plus body. Slight heat that dissipated on day two. Day two the nose of the Mourvedre really came through, with purple floral notes. Palate added in some greenery and flowers. Heat began to come up with a long finish. Drink till 2024. — 10 years ago
This bottle was left at my birthday picnic, so we took it home not thinking much of it.
Roses, gummy bears, and strawberries.
Wow, unexpectedly great. Always a wonderful feeling when you’re not expecting anything.
Blood oranges flirt with rose petals, and threesome with grapefruit gummy bears to make a tart, refreshing, savory, and slightly pleasingly astringent autumn wine. — 6 years ago
second bottle from a feldstein threesome.
last year i had 2016 vintage, and now it's 2017.
2016 was probably the best sauv blanc i ever had. this comes pretty close but i reckon it lacks.
upper Galilee sauv blanc with a touch of semion (winemaker's description)
fermented with three types of yeast in burgundy barrels and stayed there for a year.
13.2% ABV
transparent greenish 👀
citrus buffet (mostly grapefruit), grass, and some flowers right out of the fridge. as it got warmer hints of apricot and peach with a memory of tropics joined the 👃
full body.
medium + acidity.
bitterness first that moves away fast to make place for the juicy citrusy buffet with a coming and going background of minerals, stone fruit and memories of tropical fruits served on a far away 🏖️ 👄
long and pleasent 🎯
this is a full body wine that's so quiet, modest and elegant. superb.
i think avi feldstein creates magic.
i have a 2015 vintage bottle of the same wine, looking forward to that.
excellent vfm (90 nis as part of a threesome).
worked wonderful with home made pizza with mushrooms, onion, feta style cheese and olives.
was terrific the next day with soviet style buckwheat with tahini and mentioned feta the next day.
great on it's own as well — 6 years ago
Rosy red and bright in the glass. Smells tart, like little mountain strawberries and cranberry relish. Also Christmas trees covered in burning candles. Taste is elegante. Cherry milk chocolate cordials. (But the good ones...). Strawberry pie tartlets. Cranberry juice cocktail. Tannic and pretty tart to finish things up. Kinda like French Grenache, Gamay and CA coastal Pinot made a threesome in a bottle. It’s pretty lovely. — 7 years ago
second feldstein bottle from a threesome.
100% semillon
fermented in bourgogne marsena barrels (old and new).
malolactic fermentation was stopped.
the wine was oaked for a year.
13.5% ABV
gorgeous transparent light green 👀
mostly grapefruit, pear and hints of fireworks👃
medium plus body.
high acidity.
grapefruit, some lemon oil and tropical hints 👄
light pleasant medium minus spikey 🎯
yes please. complex, balanced and so fulfilling.
excelent vfm (90 nis as part of threesome).
paired lovely with another dairy based holiday meal. blue 🧀, matured cheese, assorted quiches, tuna salad, baked salmon and all the rest, it fills the gaps.
looking forward for the last bottle. — 7 years ago
Full bodied. Spicy and Peppery palate, bright acidity, dark red fruits, a hint of cola, and maybe some vanilla. Lovely.
(I don't want to make any comparisons, but this feels like a Mourvèdre, a Pinot noir and a Rioja had a threesome and a baby. And a very nice one) — 10 years ago
Stop buying drinking and anything else with this juice. This champagne drank like a burgundy...'m. And it was jobard like in getting better by the hour. Alk I can say is that I tasted this wine twenty times over three hours and in the end I thought I had tasted thirty different wines. It was a threesome for the palate. — 10 years ago

Great subtle smoky flavor with spice. As Tim puts it: "Think Pinot Noir had a threesome with garnacha and zin." — 2 years ago
