Strawberry compote and estragon herbs.
Intense aromatics and perfect acidity.
Really enjoyed this saignée. Paired with beef tartare.
Exclusively from Meunier coming from the oldest lieu-dit Les Bouts de la Ville. 144 hours cold pre-mentation maceration. Unlike most of Mousse wines, fermented in barrel, no malo.
36 months on lees, 2,5 g/l dosage.
Top class rosé.

The prestige Cuvée of the house, equal parts Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier from vines dating back up to 70 years. Plenty of tension and youthful energy going on here. Nice acidity and structure with a lot of personality.
Pale shimmering gold with not a lot of bubbles and nice effervescence. A nice floral bouquet of citrus fruits and flowers. Pears and pineapples are dominant here with plenty of apples to help out. The palate is the height of harmony and finesse. There’s a subtle elegance with plenty of depth and complexity. An outstanding champagne with years left in the game. — a month ago
Some oxidation. Medium bodied. Medium acid. Baked apple and almonds. — 14 days ago
Medium bodied smooth well rounded: elegant supple red, as it says on the bottle. A wonderful steal at £7.50 from the Spar. Perfect accompaniment to Sunday beef or lamb roast. — 8 days ago
