The Greek wines were the best of the bunch!
The Rapsani had cigar box, burning wood, barnyard, cherries, and campfire. Lovely!
The last wine was a dessert wine that was brown in color and contained massive caramel. Very thick and sweet, but refined. — 14 days ago
Saline ocean breeze, with a touch of orange citrus. This wine is so interesting and delicious. Had a lot of Manzanilla Sherry elements, but had some orange wine notes that make it really user friendly. Damn good juice! — 14 days ago
Honestly? I didn’t have high hopes for this. I’ve been storing it under non-optimal conditions since 2009. But, wow, this is gorgeous. Wild strawberry, raspberry, marasca cherry, balsam, white truffle, red licorice, poppy, dried plum, kalamata olive, autumn leaves, wet river rock, barbecue smoke, umami. Incredibly complex, silky, and surprisingly vibrant. Not much primary fruit left, but it doesn’t come across as tired or faded at all. There are still enough tannins to give it structure but overall this wine is very light on its feet—yet somehow it’s 14.9% alcohol?! I’d have guessed 13.5. There’s definitely some heat, but it’s still pretty elegant and lean. This was such a delightful surprise, and brought me back to my early days in the wine industry. — 16 days ago
Deep inky purple. Oak, cedar, blueberry, and plum on the nose. Some effervescence on the palate, medium bodied, dusty/smoky oak notes, and just the right amount of plum, dark cherry, with hints of sour cherry too. Really really solid Costco find 😁. — 16 days ago
Electric orange in color. Barnyard on the nose- but once it blows off extremely well balanced citrus — 17 days ago
Drank at Bar Boulud with a beautiful Cappelletti, French onion soup and escargot. — 23 days ago
Surprisingly mineral with flowery notes. Good acidity and balance. Lacks some complexity. — a month ago

A beautiful ruby color, mild fruit aromas, medium body with bright acidity and round fruitiness, and light lingering tannins. Easy winter evening drinking. — 11 days ago
