Quite watery, west of priorat but inland. No sulfur — 2 years ago
Nose: sweet baking spices, vanilla. Plum and dark berries - but the aforementioned flavors much more prominent than fruit. Taste: Amber herbs, distinct tobacco (it distinctly tastes the way tobacco smells, I can almost picture loose tobacco), the tannins add a nice bitterness to balance the sweet impression of the spices - bitter plum. I am having trouble picking out a lot of distinct flavors, but “simple” doesn’t seem like the right word - more subtle than simple. This seems very well made for the price ($10). Not my preferred style, but may buy again - worth it. 89. EDIT: black pepper and a lot more fruit (very ripe raspberry) shows as it gets air. I may have liked it better right out of the bottle. — 3 years ago
Fruity blossomy fragrances as it's full flavor touches your tongue! The balance in acidity is a welcome to that a tempranillo should always be...superbly just a very refreshing finish with taste I can only compare it as a continuous dark chocolate dark cherry cordell from start to finish with the fruit down the center of the palate and the dark chocolate around it in a continuity that's just plain delicious! — 3 years ago
Terrific rose of pinot noir from Maggie Harrison of Antica Terra. This is not your garden-variety rose: serious skin contact time coupled with her incredible wine-making abilities has produced a really substantive wine. Reminds me a bit of Manfred’s SQN roses (not surprising, I guess, since Maggie worked with Manfred for I believe a decade or so before striking out on her own with what I think is the best winery in the Willamette Valley). Do yourself a favor and try to snag some of this. Terrific juice. — 3 years ago
Deep rich red/purple color, mild notes of plum, fruitier than other reds I’ve had. I really liked it — 9 months ago
Hall Wines- terra secca - 2016 - cabernet sauvignon - Napa Valley. Italian for dry earth, terra secca describes the soil from where these grapes were born. From the eastern hillsides of Napa Valley comes this amazing cabernet sauvignon. I love a juicy, yet bold, dry wine with a leftover buttery texture on the tongue. I feel it helps to neutralize the dry finish and makes this wine go KA POW! “May I have another?” — 3 years ago

Every time I have this I’m struck by the clear crisp citrus. So drinkable. Cuts through rich pasta meals like a dream. — 2 months ago
