Easy drinker & great with NY strip — 2 months ago
Martinelli family has been farming in Sonoma County since 1860. Deep Ruby color with aromas of red berry fruit and sweet spices. On the palate ripe cherry and blueberry flavors, with some dried fruit notes, oak, cinnamon spice and cola tones. Fine mouth coating tannins with balanced acidity carry this rich wine to a long finish. Good now will age a bit! — 2 months ago
Wonderfully balanced wine. — 9 days ago
Was worried that this would be fruity and oaky. I should’ve known not to worry. The nickel family is serious about this wine. It’s very dark and I fear too young. Stood up very well with steak and punched back. Hit it with 100% pure oxygen and it’s still tight. Has some nice savory notes hiding the fruit here. Feel like I’m eating the wine. But I like it. — 2 months ago

Very smooth, dark cherry fruits. Relatively flat from there but still fun to drink — 19 days ago
