Juicy, brambly, dripping with bright florals and herbs, stoney too. Always delicious — 2 years ago
The nose on this after opening was insane. Small berries, stoney minerality and a bit of spice...thought i was onto a total banger. This sadly faded away after 2-3 hours and became a bit la la and compoty. It seems unfair to judge such a young wine and I have 3 bottles left which I will drink after 5, 10 and 15 years (he says now then drinks them all in the coming weeks). There seems to be massive potential...the taste just needs to catch up to that nose!!!

Love this wine and last 2-3 vintages are the best. Nose has delicate berries, hint of barnyard, herbals and wonderful minerality. Palate is a dream. So balanced, fresh and pure with red berry fruit, gorgeous minerals and incredible finesse. Lovey structure and stoney sweetness. Sappy and deep. Wonderful depth and length. Really the most elegant Marginale yet. Still needs time to open. As it opens it just levels up. More fruit and sap. 9.5 to 9.6. — 3 years ago
OMG nose. Great terroir cannot be fucked with. It cannot. Black opulent cherries, hint of sweet wood, floral, dark, brooding. This is the EMO vineyard of Pommard. Insane and intense minerality. What mineral lift. Stunning nose. 9.7? 9.8? I don’t know. But it’s up there. Elite. Elite. Concentrated and intense but oh so young. Faboosh complexity and juiciness. Fruit is extraordinary but also needs air to show its true self. Man what a stoney Rugiens. Nose now showing kirsch. But a black kirsch. Energetic and so delineated and what insane fruit and finesse. Super complex and light as a feather but also deep, contemplative and dense. Wow. Stunning. A tick below 19. — 3 years ago
Haunting Chenes nose. That combo of ethereal fruit and pulverized rock dust. God damn this nose is complex. Wow. Wood shavings. Tree bark. Just insanely complex. The breeding comes through. Long, juicy and Stoney. Really long. So grippy. So rocky. This is oozing class. — 3 years ago

Excellent p/q. Baby brother of Domaine A - showing deep dark fruit and prominent but integrated tannins. Impressive and would age. — a month ago
