Short decant and definitely drinking young. Needs age as it was up to par with other bottles/vintages. Tannins definitely present and fruit was restrained. Still great though! — 2 months ago

The Crane Assembly

G. B. Crane Vineyard el Coco Red Blend 2020

Really original wine, reminds me of the first time I tasted The Prisoner years and years ago, the original Zinfandel version that is. This is a Petit Syrah, Merlot, Cab blend with concentrated flavors and deep complexity… Need time to open and achieve balance. Cheers. — 5 months ago

Very sweet, rn i like sweet wines. Best of both worlds with half sparkling half regular and it actually balances out very well — 7 months ago

Stone fruit aromas of peaches and apricots. Touch of minerals, not too much acidity. Easy drinking on its own or with food. — 3 months ago

Stella di Campalto Podere San Giuseppe

Riserva Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2012

Along with the majestic 2010 one of my favorite Stella vintages. So giving right off the bat, never any heat even in this warm vintage, just so fresh and clean wafting stunning perfumed aromatics with an elegant, detailed and voluminous palate. Always an amazing expression of Sangiovese. — 5 months ago
