These 08s are really wonderful. They were in stasis for so long. On release they were somewhat open, then quickly tightened and refused to reveal themselves. Remember, the 08 was the banner year with all the promise. Well, they seem to be coming out of hiding which is thrilling. Full palate, rich, soul of the soil evident. — 6 years ago

19 hrs open but 14 in a vacuum....someone help me with the math, cuz I know it’s still trace developing under decanter seal....fantastic and worth the wait. Purple shifts to garnet. Jam to stewed fruit. A Utah-like powder emerges. A shout becomes a suggestion.
