This is getting better and better with air. I liked on opening and have to say I think I like it better. Not looking at what I rated it then but it’s got great weight, punch and flavor. The finish is long. I would like a bit more so not out of the park but very much a great finish to the day. Listening to a quick play of Enya because I can’t get enough Irish right now. One of the most fascinating single malts I’ve ever had. This is not for beginners. It’s oily and industrial in the best way, with notes of grain, honey and oak. I liked it a lot, but it felt incomplete, maybe a little one note. Certainly not an everyday drinker, but it was definitely educational. I’m looking forward to trying some of their alternative barrel offerings. EDIT: This grew on me like Kudzu, baby. I LOVE this whisky. The more I drank the more complex and interesting it became.
