Another try at this one after a few years and mostly the same result for me. Solid if not spectacular. It needed an hour to open and significantly improved but it was a less impressive mix of earthiness and mature fruit than I have been expecting based on reviews. — 5 months ago
1979 vintage. Not the biggest Jordan fan but this one hit before the mass California hysteria. Decanted and tasted after 10 mins-2 hours. Plenty of cedar, tannins and otherwise, structural components. Solid showing. May pick up a few of these for the holidaze. In best Darth Vader/James Earl Jones voice..."Impressive." 9.20.23. — 7 months ago
What a nice find ! I’m Leary of the 2020 vintages from Napa due to the fires, but this vintage was excellent. A dark purple well balanced Cabernet shows itself well . At $70 per bottle this is a solid value . Complex and a nice finish , it reminds me of some of my favorite California cabs . Of course , having a link from Duckhorn and Winemaker of the year Tony Biaggi always helps ! — 2 months ago
Always a solid Sonoma cab. Some anise and dark fruit, dark chocolate and anise. Slight bit of dill and vanilla. Drinks young, this could go for a bit longer. Good strong tannins but smooth enough to balance my prime rib. — 7 months ago
