Dolinsek Ranch Heritage Red Blend 2021

The 2021 Dolinsek from Bedrock is super-bright, fruit forward and has an almost effervescent acidity. It’s a great food wine right now and probably great for some fall sipping in the upcoming weeks. — 2 months ago

'Cannonball' Margaret River Red Blend 2018

Dark garnet with near black core. Cabernet-forward nose of cassis with a bit of green. Palate is full-bodied with medium tannins and juicy medium plus minus acidity, and confirms the nose adding no blackberry and a wee bit more bell pepper (normally a turn-off for me, but in this higher-acid blend, it works). Finish is moderately long and continues the palate. Australia has come a long way with its reds and this is a great example of how. Fruit forward yet food friendly, the Cannonball is an excellent entry into higher end Aussie reds. Drink now through 2028. — 2 years ago

Grenache - Syrah - Mourvedre 2015

Earthy spices! Wonderful GSM in full harmony. Finaliy a wine that stands up to aged Gouda cheese and creating a symphony. Dark, vibrant complex fruit that meanders to satisfying finish. Did I mention spicy?! — 9 months ago

Snake River Valley Cabernet - Syrah Blend 2018

We are members at this winery... I know... Idaho is still figuring out how to do wine, but this wine is a bit-o-alright! Every other month we make the drive to the winery to pick up our allocation. While there is no restaurant at the winery, you are allowed to bring a picnic lunch. Sitting inside or outside with a picnic lunch and w a tasting that comes free w membership is delightful! Staff is so pleasant, and the winery has remained open (with restrictions) during this time of Covid . We like the experience, and THAT’s why we are members. We were willing to put up w mediocre wine for the EXPERIENCE. But, hey, this wine definitely surpasses mediocre! — 4 years ago

Snake River Valley Syrah 2015

It was time to taste local again!! Nice, mature Syrah from the Snake River Valley in Idaho. Notes of ripe mulberry, almost jammy lifted by warm spices. Low acidity and very soft tannins. Time to drink it. — 3 years ago

Snake River Valley Mourvèdre 2012

Medium bodied spicy wine. Multiple layers of spiciness. White pepper upfront and darker earthy spice on the finish. Dark fruit flavors integrated with ceder, oak and underlying notes of vanilla. — 4 years ago
