Plummy, red and black fruit, cigar box, cedar, graphite, coffee, chocolate, med + to high acid, beautifully integrated tannin, long lingering finish. 7 years on it’s drinking great, can go another 10. — a month ago
"A traditional Australian blend combining the expressiveness of Shiraz with the defined structure of Cabernet Sauvignon. This full-bodied wine shows ripe dark fruit aromas, voluminous richness and plentiful tannins. " — 2 months ago
From half bottle. Generally regarded as Australia’s best “sticky “ (dessert style). Colour getting darker (burnished copper). Drank some with plum pudding on Christmas Day and finished it yesterday with Duck Pate and crackers, having returned from a week in Mossman and the Daintree in FNQ. Aromas of Apricot and over ripe pear. A generous mid palate with diminished acid. Time to drink this. Only 10.5% ABV. — 4 months ago

1hr+ decant. Lovely dark red almost purple color. More oak than I was expecting but it was fairly well integrated with dark fruit. Medium plus depth and solid finish. — 21 days ago
