Savigny-lès-Beaune Chardonnay 2018

Dark gold color with ever so subtle orange hues. Past prime and slightly oxidized. Mammoth wine! Caramel and stone fruits dominate. Not bad by any means. Decant and Drink up soon. — 9 hours ago

I will but every bottle of Bize I am offered. Chisa has such a beautiful touch of finesse and ethereal character in her wines. — 3 months ago

What a night with pascaline Lepeltier, who after 50 years in wine teaches me a whole new spectrum. Absolutely wonderful. — 4 months ago

Ganevat en billat, roche aux moines, les ursules : all three spectacular but if I need to pick one: Ganevat. They were all six outstanding quite frankly. Nice concept I picked 3 and let pascaline pick a “contrepoint” wine.

What a lifted expression of a chard this is.
Nose doesn’t reveal too much, but there’s a hint of white flowers. Mid palate is all about honeysuckle with baking spices and baked apples. A cut grass note comes along for the ride. Pristine, squeaky clean, ethereal finish. Burgundy at its finest. Food would spoil the enjoyment of this example.

Sold this producer at several retailers. It’s a style that works well for American palettes
