Great balance of fruit and acid. East drinking. — 2 months ago
Cherry, raspberry preserves, blackberry, currant, vanilla and oak. Full-bodied and moderate tannins.

The palate sings plum and blueberry. But the finish is restrained unlike other Tobin wines. Medium dry finish and tannins. — 6 months ago
Looks like a nice Columbia Valley Cab. Dark color. Heady and dense nose. Maybe a herbal and earthy streak in with the plum sauce on the nose. Flavors are chewy and vicious. Horehound meets berry cobbler and a bit of flint. Plenty bittersweet like a good Cab should be. Has a big style, but holds a bit of elegance as well. Will be great with the grilled steak I’m going to have with it later. A nice find at the grocery outlet 20% off wine sale. — 17 days ago
Dark purple in color. Bold and full bodied. Better if opened for a little while to breathe. Good overall for the price point. — a month ago
Oh oh oh yes... — 4 months ago
Great nose. Complex but well balanced. 53% cabernet sauvignon, 30% petit syrah, 9% merlot, 4% petit verdot, 4% malbec. Enjoyed at the castle in Napa. — 7 months ago

It has been 15 years or so since I’ve had a Silver Oak. Thought I check in. Nothing has changed, every vintage basically tastes the same. It almost like they add flavoring. 🤷♂️ One red you could not fool me blind. Short Rib was excellent.
At Pebble Beach Food & Wine 2025.
The ticket to this event has a pretty big price tag. But when you consider what a Napa etc. tasting or two and lunch would cost you, you are pretty much there and there is so much more than that. It ends up having great value. It’s wine, spirits and food candy land. — 12 days ago
