What a wine. Nose is so complex with unreal aromas that honestly are at once mineral and at once so utterly unique I don’t have the vocabulary to grasp them. Apricots is about all I got but the nose is still a 9.7 even if I can’t explain why. Palate is vivacious, rich and elegant but with so much tannin from what I assume is skin contact but also reads as textured and fresh. So brilliant, complex and utterly distinctive. It’s rare I can’t find words to describe wine but here we are. — 2 days ago
I love this wine. It’s so versatile with food. Amazing combo with bbq beef on skewers. Rich yet ethereal. Killer acids and mouthfeel. Always elite. — a month ago
Minerals! Lemonoil, petrol, earth, wool. Quite concentrated, saline, creamy, well balanced. Made me think dry Loire Chenin. But it’s not.. Drinking great right now. — 9 months ago
Vintage 2016 | a meadow in spring. Beautiful yellow colour. Honey melon, Turkish delight in smell, apricots as well. Vibrant fresh taste, I love Franken Silvaner. Paired with shrimps. — 2 months ago
