Great pick by the Sohm at scarpetta. Great value. Bought more on my own. — 8 years ago
Definitely crisp and and dry, some honey flavor and very subtle mineral finish. Nice for a warm day! — 9 years ago

Sunday night, back from camping with Abby and Eric. First real wine in a long time! Honey and pear with peach fragrances. Very good! — 6 years ago
One on the best values on a very overpriced wine list #scarpetta LV 😟. Drinking nicely 5 years in. Soft but tannins keep it balanced. A nice indicator for the #brunello from this house. — 8 years ago
40th Birthday dinner at Scarpetta Beach at Gurney's in Montauk. Dark fruit with versatility. Light on the pallet thanks to 25% Sangiovese but big enough for more complex flavors thanks to the 75% Syrah. Could use a touch more bottle aging but still very approachable 3 years in. — 10 years ago

Fourteenth Edition. We’ve really loved this wine since the first edition when the Frasca team came to Omaha for a wine dinner. Great QPR and great with a charcuterie plate at Tannin Wine Bar & Kitchen. — 2 months ago
