The MoM group had a rather large line-up of bottles this week, nearly a dozen strong, and not a dud in the lineup. That being said, this was one of three bottles that rose to the top. This arguably had the most interesting and enjoyable nose. A serious wine that would compliment a variety of meals. Impressive. — 6 years ago
Pretty unusual blend of Petite Sirah, Zinfandel and Nero d’Avola from different vineyards in Mendocino County. Fermented separately and then aged in barrel for 6 months. Beautiful, complex nose with notes of red and dark fruit. Cherry cola, cinnamon and some smoky notes. Fresh, medium-bodied. Tart red fruit, some blood orange. Great acidity. Fun, very enjoyable — 2 years ago
Smells like synthetic firewood that someone burned some pretty flowers in. Would love to eat this with some olives. This just really makes me want to go camping. S’mores (not necessarily for pairing purposes as much as I just really want to relive my childhood) with a dash of this drinkable bottle would really ring in the summer on the right note. — 6 years ago
Salus Cab in San Fran — 3 years ago
$25 bottle that tastes like a $25 bottle. Silky and light with a good depth of flavor. — 5 years ago
The Benchland Cab from Cornerstone Cellars is dark and rich. A nose of blackberries and cassis is layered with leather, spice and oak notes. The aromas are nearly a dead ringer for a Syrah, but that impression goes away on the sip. It's definitely a Cab, but it's a really bold one. The acidity zings, the tannins grip and the finish lingers on a medium while. — 7 years ago

2021. Always a favorite! Lighter color and body than some of the previous vintages, but great fruit and a little tartness to pair great with pasta 🍝 — 5 months ago
