1hr+ decant. Very similar to the ‘14 Pride I had the night before. Not as bright and less fruit as this was more rustic and floral. This has a lot of life left in it. Finish was shorter than expected. — 5 days ago

I think some or many of these aged whites need a short decant (30mins). This got better with air big time. Seemed over the hill at first but then blossomed into a lovely wine with honey, lemongrass, and a touch of thyme. Well balanced between acidity and boldness. $50 might be a touch high, but enjoyed it. — 11 days ago

Light, translucent gold color. Massive pencil shavings on the nose with subtle petrol and stewed pineapples. Sweet pineapples on the palate with medium plus depth. Medium finish. Very nice. — 20 days ago

Delectable didn’t have this wine, it’s the Pointillart-Leroy 1910 Foundations Brut Premier Cru.

This was much better than I was expecting. My style and very bold. Brioche with a lovely brightness to it. Great value at $50 in my mind. — 12 days ago
