What an amazing recommendation from my local wine shop!!
Light gold color. Huge nose of butter and cream. Big wine, with camomile, butter, and just the right amount of acid. Smothers the palate immensely. No way this should be only £20!!!

I love the White from Domaine Nicolas so needed to try the Red. I always have to preface that I’m not a huge fan of Pinot Noir. Decanted 30+ minutes. Bright red color with high clarity. Green nose with strawberries. Pepper and tartness throughout with modest sweetness at the end. Lacked concentration and depth. Probably drank too young, but was just “okay”. — 12 days ago
1 hour plus decant. Dark purple color. Nose and wine were a mix of Bordeaux and Napa. Wine was fruit forward with dark cherry. Very young wine that coats your teeth. Little bit of a rough finish with some tartness and pepper. Probably needs 7+ yrs. — 18 days ago
Very lovely! 1 hour plus decant. Dark red color. Nose is big with green and metallic elements. Wine is massive with dark cherries, spice, and meaty flavors. It’s the kind of wine you can take a sip and hold in your mouth for minutes. Soaks the palate and is very deep and chewy. Extremely long finish. High quality and will last for many more years. — 4 days ago
1hr+ decant and got better with more air. Dark purple color. Fruit forward on the nose and palate with dark cherries. Wine is deep and smothers the mouth. Big tannins and medium plus acidity. More new world than old world in my mind. Wouldn’t turn a glass away, but overpriced in my mind, but maybe 5-10yrs would make a big difference. — 11 days ago
Happy Valentines Day!!
Love this producer!! 30+ minute decant. Dark red color. One of the best noses out there. First Growth like. Wine is full of dark cherries, tar, earth, smoke, and that classic French terroir. Finish was medium and wine could have used more depth, but I’m nitpicking! Phenomenal!! — 5 days ago
30+ minute decant, but should have PnP’d. Wine was dark red with plenty of brownish tints and bricking. Cigar box nose with dirt, tar, and subtle tartness on the palate. Wine was laboring and slowing starting to thin out. Definitely past prime but still very nice. Short finish. — 19 days ago
