Dried fruit, dark cherry, even prune. A distinct difficult note, perhaps tobacco or leather. Bright acid, moderate tannin, maybe too bright — 15 days ago
At Uncle Nicky’s. Nice and lite blend. — 4 months ago
Solid vintage of this consistent Chianti. Dark ruby color with some garnet inflections. Aromas of dark berries, violets, baking spices and toasty oak. Blackberry and black cherry fruit flavors with hints of menthol, dark chocolate, dried beef and dried herbs. Long finish. Medium-plus bodied with plenty of structure and intensity. Bright acidity and moderate (but well balanced) tannins. Solid! — 6 months ago

2016. Experimental spur of the moment pick up from a Salcha gas station wine rack. Bright lights and loaded with dust, I’m sure it was there for several years before I liberated it. My coworker smoked a rib roast and the straightforward cherry flavors in the wine paired great. Wine was surprisingly sound. — 4 days ago
