Another solid vintage of this Umbrian blend of Trebbiano (locally called Procanico), Grechetto and Canaiolo Bianco. Light white gold color. Aromas of orchard fruit, white flowers and some fresh herbs. Flavors of green apples and pears, white peach and raw almonds. Medium length and brisk acidity with a subtle mineral note. I don't know why I read other people's reviews when I'm posting. I think everyone who's commented on this wine have never had Pinot Grigio. I know that sounds demeaning ☹️
This wine is solid. Vibrant and acidic, with green apple, pear, and almond flavors. Gets better as it warms up.
And just so you know, I like the Ruffino better 😜 @Sharon B
