Deep Ruby color with aromas of dark fruits, spice and toasty oak. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry and plum with spice, herbs, cacao, tobacco and toasty tones from 18 months of oak aging. Full ripe tannins you can bite into, long finish ending with fruit and an earthy toasty spice character. Nice! Will age! — a month ago

2014 is a notoriously difficult vintage in Tuscany, but this showcases the finesses achievable in a challenging season.
The nose shows fresh cherry, red currant, pinecone, violet, and touch of leather and baking spices. Medium-to-full body on the leaner side, the plate is marked by vibrant acidity and refined silky tannins. Hint of sweetness on the long finish.

2016. Experimental spur of the moment pick up from a Salcha gas station wine rack. Bright lights and loaded with dust, I’m sure it was there for several years before I liberated it. My coworker smoked a rib roast and the straightforward cherry flavors in the wine paired great. Wine was surprisingly sound. — 9 months ago
