I don't know why I read other people's reviews when I'm posting. I think everyone who's commented on this wine have never had Pinot Grigio. I know that sounds demeaning ☹️
This wine is solid. Vibrant and acidic, with green apple, pear, and almond flavors. Gets better as it warms up.
And just so you know, I like the Ruffino better 😜 @Sharon B

Very nice. Lots of flavor. Smooth. Served too warm, but solid. — 3 years ago
Fragrant floral and bread nose. Pineapple and stone on the palate. Herbal notes. Nice complexity. — 6 years ago
Old standby. I guess i haven't written about the 2022. This wine is softer than previous bottlings. Typical Sangiovese flavors, though the tiny bit of Cabernet Franc is apparent. Cherry, sweet tobacco, a bit heavy on florals, lower tannins but a lingering finish.

Blend of Trebbiano and Grechetto with some additional local varieties blended in. Light white gold color. Aromas and flavors of yellow apples/pears, lemon, white flowers, raw almonds and a touch of wet limestone. Nice touch of saline on the long and lingering finish. Lovely creamy texture. Excellent structure and crisp acidity. Outstanding value! Thanks for sharing, Chris B! — 5 months ago

Cellier, environ $22 — 6 years ago
Clear, medium ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of raspberries, balsamic, and wood smoke; on the palate, it's dry, with high acidity, high tannins, medium body, high alcohol, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of red currant, cherries, and clay pots with a long finish. This wine is balanced and complex. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie likes it too. — 5 days ago
We had the 2016 Vintage on 8/15-16/26. A real good Chianti with tastes of raspberry, black cherry, plum and herbs. Old World, medium bodied — 6 days ago

Cherry. Spice, like anise and thyme. Chalky soil. Medium tannins. Medium plus finish. Medium plus perfume. Love Sangiovese but a little tight despite decanting — 4 years ago

I grabbed this on the recommendation of @Sharon B
I would have thought this was reisling blind, due to a wee bit of rubber on the nose. I taste peach, pear, and macaroons. It's sweet. Most reviewers use the word "crisp", but this is neither crisp nor overly acidic. It's soft, and a bit flabby. If I had a dollar for every time I heard that.
Very enjoyable! Makes me want risotto for dinner.
