Damn. Like a cross of Nebbiolo and amaro. — 5 years ago
Love this nebbiolo, gorgeous nose, great tannins and well balanced with almost an amaro-y finish — 8 years ago
Doesn’t quite pass as amaro but it’s my true love. Possibly a desert island thing. Orange. Bitter as all get out. Syrupy which works because the bitter. This is the friend who is a jerk but somehow their jerkiness plays off their good-human-magnitude and you love them even more. I’d marry Campari. — 8 years ago
Leathery fruit, savory spice, underbrush, damp earth, amaro, mocha, tobacco, cracked peppercorn, rocks. Complex, expressive, and more wound up than the '09 was. As always rustic with this sexiness about it. Poweful tannins that have finesse and poise to them. Would love to revisit. — 9 years ago
Nose - pomegranate and light pencil shaving/pencil lead notes. Main tasting notes - white cranberry and a light touch of acid. Very, very easy drinking. Perfect with pizza on a Friday night. Love Furlani as a producer have had a number of their wines and amaro. Good stuff! — 2 years ago
I’ve been drinking a well-regarded Amaro fro le Marche lately, and the nose on this reminds me of that herb- infused smell. Also some smoke, tobacco, menthol, and a little barnyard funk . Lovely black fruit with some good tannins that blend in so well with food: on this case, homemade ricotta gnocchi, with homemade brasciole, homemade sausage ( homemade) tomato sauce, and garden greens from the deck. Feasting tonight. Such a soft, expressive wine. Rosso Conero is the finest expression of montepulciano — 6 years ago
Great producer IMO, wines are always pure, high-toned, feminine. Ripe morello cherry, macerated strawberry and raspberry, blood orange, violet, leather, cinnamon, spice cake, red licorice, amaro spices, eucalyptus. Juicy, acid driven palate that’s never sharp, fine tannin. Nice little drop here — 8 years ago
Substitute this for Campari and you get a smoky honey tasting negroni! — 8 years ago
Super cool! More like amaro than vermouth. — 9 years ago

Loved this in a Negroni instead of Campari. Richer, less bitter. Delish!! — 4 years ago
i said some nice stuff about this yesterday before Delectable erased it… so now all i’m saying is buy again from amaro. — 7 years ago
Nice Valtellina Nebbiolo. Mineral and saline, medium–light bodied and only 12%. Acid-forward, dried violets, grapefruit pith, cranberry, light earthiness and tar. From Amaro Spirits and Wines. — 7 years ago
with grandma pizza and a super delicious choice. nice acid and fruitiness. highly drinkable. buy again. from amaro spirits and wine, brooklyn. — 8 years ago
Delicious Amaro — 8 years ago
Dry, slightly bitter amaro/Campari in both nose and flavor. Quinine, grapefruit/citrus peel. Excellent and dry champagne that would very well compliment a rich dessert. — 9 years ago

Very much on the savory, herb ( sage?!) end of the spectrum for dry Lambrusco. Almost like Alpine Amaro in sparkling form, though that’s probably too extreme a way to put it. — a year ago
