Huge fruit still! Really surprising how well the Rosenblum wines are holding up 15+yrs out. This had a great, rich finish. — 7 years ago
Tootsie roll lollipop. Interesting wine that is surprisingly delicious. — 8 years ago
Big rich full bodied wine! Wow after 14 years it still needs more time. If you like deep dark fully extracted fruit that possesses chocolate, plum, blackberry flavors like I do, then this is your wine. Steaks, roasts, rich fruity full body and decadent finish — 10 years ago
Old ghost level but different in flavor and depth. Very nice flavor, delicious at a nice price. Just barely prefer it aerated. More robust unaerated. — 10 years ago
Got the plow of classic Rosenblum. Color is prefect. Rosy red. Aroma is strange. Maybe mole. Or mole and plum sauce. Flavors are chewy, dense and jammy. Classic Zin. This aged quite well. Balance is fantastic. A winner of a Sonoma county Zin. Great, great deal at Gross Outlet. — 4 years ago
A rich but now well balanced Zin in that ripe style that I’d likely not have been too fond of when it was younger. Bottle coated with sediment and oak is prominent in how it’s resolved with plummy berry vanilla notes. Back label says a field blend of Zin Carignane and Petit Sirah, Alexander Valley vineyard, vines cultivated on St. George rootstock grafted onto a 75 year old clone of Zin. — 5 years ago
Fruity. I could drink a lot of this way too easily. — 7 years ago
Full of flavor, very good — 9 years ago

2011 (couldn't get its vintage into the pic). So good! — 10 years ago
Very sweet red, maybe a little too much, but tasty and fun :) — 10 years ago
Present in dark cherries, fresh cut cedar, crushed plums, blackberries, some floral notes and a faint hint of dark chocolate. It's mouth is medium - full with silky medium grain tannins and sufficient acidity. Excellent. — 10 years ago
2002; Father's Day 2022
👃 Dried blackberries, dried blueberries, over-ripe black cherry, crushed dark chocolate | 👅 Black cherry & strawberry syrup reduction, over-ripe nectarine skin, dark chocolate sauce, light tar notes, acidity/tannins persists with a long, round finish. Satisfying.
Cork pulled for slow oxidation, 11H rest at time of notes.
The end of the line for our Annette's stock, starting life in our cellar as a 4-pack back in Nov. 2005 ($22.50), this has been an enjoyable run.
Paired to homemade chocolate lava cake. 🤤 — 4 years ago
My buddy, Ash, gave me this many yes ago & suggested i hold it til 2008. I never listened to him (except he did turn me on to Zichichi wines...). Can kind of see the amount of sediment this had - like a pound of soil in the bottle! Still had great, chocolate, anise, black cherry tones & great lasting finish. If you have one of these - keep it for a few more yes! So far beyond my expectations! — 5 years ago
This pretty much doesn’t exist anymore. I have two more left and then gone forever. My palate is happy. Plum and cherry. Super heavy and strong. Getting older didn’t hurt this one as it was stored well and decanted for a few hours. — 7 years ago
I had zero expectations for this and was pleasantly surprised. Just barely browning at the rim. Still plenty of red fruit remaining to go with loads of tobacco and dried herb. Probably at the end of the plateau, but a nice showing from a winery not known for ageability, or Cab for that matter. — 10 years ago
Sweeter and fruitier than I expected in a great way. — 10 years ago

Perfect cork.
Fantastic ripe plum notes to the nose and palate. I don't know the exact blending percentages of the grapes, but assume CS is dominant since it's listed first on the back label. But, the Merlot is most prominent at this age and it's singing a beautiful song tonight after 3H in the decanter. Last bottle from release purchase in April 2006, winery direct. — 2 years ago
