Nose is dusty cherry in a good way.
Palate is some of the best cleanest cherry fruit I’ve ever had in a wine. A hint of cherry licorice on the finish. Wow. Such a. Clean well made wine.
Vines are almost 100 years old.
From Emilia Romagna. A bit north of Tuscany so the wines are a bit less fruit Bomby. A bit more elegant. Good producers like these guys and costa archi are worthy seeking out.

Tastes like excellent beer. Perfect with alpine cheeses like Comté, Challerhocker, or in my case, Schallenberg. Strong flavor of yeast and bread, followed by a sour finish. Enjoyable, even if one would not believe it was made with grapes. — 17 days ago
