Extra Cuvée De Réserve Vintage Brut Champagne 1996

Timothy Eustis

No surprise that it’d lost some if not all bubbles but it still had a depth of character that was unmistakeable. Waited too long but still enjoyed it. — 7 days ago

A delicious wine. Honey colored from age. Small bubbles and lots of secondary flavors. Still fruit! This 2008 is ready to drink. — a month ago

Champagne Rose Blend 2008

At opening, white smog with red fruits aroma came. Beautiful salmon pink. Well balanced taste and its acidity to drink more and more. Later on, slightly feel strawberry. @2850, wine plus, 191115 — 12 days ago

Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill Brut Champagne 2008

At Come Taste the Stars hosted by Tyson Stelzer. Interestingly Tyson thought this 2008 is better than the 1996 which is in turn better than the 2002. Initially very yeasty on the nose - 10 years on lees turning to Lemon Cream. Minerality and chalk in abundance. Great acidity and tension on the palate. Over 60% Pinot Noir with the balance Chardonnay. A very long life ahead. At Montrachet Restaurant. — a month ago
