9.1

At Moore Brothers tasting of Piemonte with Fung and Mary 1/25/25. Excellent small production white that has a biting texture softened by white fruits and complexity and long finish. — 3 months ago

The Piedmont Guy Arneis

Floral white flower nose. Lemon, grapefruit, and more floral notes on the palate. Nice and bright, but with enough chalky mineral body to balance it out. Like a delicious adult lemonade. — 18 days ago

Cordero di Montezemolo

Langhe Arneis 2021

2021 vintage.
100 % Arneis grapes from vineyards in La Morra, Alba, Guarene and Castagnito in Piedmont.
Stainless steel ferment with several months resting on the lees.
Pale straw yellow in colour.
Acacia and yellow flowers with dried Chamomile, green apple, ripe peach and crushed stone.
A slightly bitter but fresh finish makes this wine perfect for Vitello Tonnato or whole grilled fish on the BBQ.

Sight tawny red. On nose tabacco, chocolate, red fruit forward. On mouth strawberry, medium bodied, medium tannins, some spice. (2008) — a month ago

Malvirà

Roero Nebbiolo 2020

A deeper, more resinous & leathery expression of a Langhe Nebbiolo, doing the best imitation of Barolo I’ve ever had. Reminds a bit of Vallanas with some age, given the more rusty, mineral core. Plenty of rose hips, orange pith, etc. Given the2+ years in old oak, plus another in bottle, a ridiculous level of wine & quite the revelation for under 20$. — 2 months ago
