Had at Alexander Valley Ranch House, w/Jim, Jessica & Tamera — 9 months ago
The wine producer Poggio dei Gorleri, from the small hamlet Gorleri, is located high above the Ligurian coast near Imperia, called the Ligure di Ponente, Italy. The producers’ focus is predominantly on the Pigato grape, delivering minerally, white fruit, very fresh white wines. This Shalok stands out from the white wines produced. Made of 100% Granaccia/Grenache/Alicante, this wine is bursting with red fruits. Quite dark with flavours of berry/blackberry fruit, some chocolate, some wood, with very smooth tannines. Only 1,122 bottles produced. — 4 years ago
More dark golden color than other roses. Mild strawberry upfront. A thick velvet taste on the tongue then a mild mild strawberry citrus finish. — 10 months ago
