Tar, dried roses, dried red cherry, forest floor, leather, tobacco. Med+/high acidity, dusty tannings, almost no primary flavors left. Beautiful wine. Drink now — 5 months ago
Ruby running to garnet, color. Earthy nose, brush, pine. We are way early of course. Sharp, bitter cut on the flowers, wood present, tannins still quite chalky and harsh. But this will be amazing with time. Alcohol and acidity will usher this wine into another dimension. I would give this another 2-3 years. You can drink it now at a score of 92+, but, hold out for 95. @Antonio Galloni will this make the cut for the future Barolo event?

Crisp; hits the back of your throat. A bit calmer than a Pinot Grigio. All in all, would be getting again. — 20 days ago
Mint chocolate dominated nose the whole time. Also reminded me of a Hopjes (little Dutch candy) — 4 months ago
Well … it’s always a treat to drink something so old. Yet, a bit musty (as in lacking energy yet with just a hint of the other - beautiful ‘must’) and very peppery. Still … interesting and enjoyable. — 5 months ago

Density and fruit aplenty, but still too much obvious new oak. So much so that I felt it masked a lot of the fruit’s quality. Expensive for what it offered, and not for me. — 11 days ago
