Smells of light plums maybe a bit of prunes. Taste of sour plums and maybe just a bit of lemon and some prunes at the end. Nice acid to go well with food. Surprised to see this from Switzerland, but very enjoyable. — 2 months ago
Virkelig cremet sag. Smukke bobler. God syre. Brød, nødder og æbler i næsen. Lav dosage (2 gr/l). Tør, syrerig, seriøs champagne på 100 pct Pinot Meunier. (80 pct 2017, 20 pct 2016. — 3 months ago
Cassis, Chocolate, dark forrest berries, black plum, cedar, vegetal. High tannins and good to go for another 10 years! — 8 days ago
41% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Syrah, 7% Petit Verdot, 1% Sauvignon Blanc.
Sheet of sediment in bottle, stood upright 24 hours, before decant. Filtered into decanter. Nicely aged. Strong bottle notes in decant. I recommend 3 hr. Decant. 4 hours onward, fruit notes waned.
In the tasting notes, Marijuana resin is noted. Yes, there is a taste of hash or cannabis resin in the dark notes of the wine. Pleasant, well integrated, savory, in the know.
Delicious, mature beauty. Dark bottle notes, with still bright cherry note. Cherry notes notable for estate, beautiful energy in wines.

Leather and hawthorn notes. Noticeable tannin. — 3 months ago
Black Cherry, Blackberry , dark bottle notes pair well with mellow char/plank notes. Some sediment noticeable (filter or live on the edge). Hour decant.
Enjoy with fresh black cherry chutney (natural & acidic, not sweetened sweet) pair with stewed beef, grilled ribs, planked salmon (lil’crispy and savory edges), plenty of acidity to cut through, will not stand up to overtly heavy flavors (KC Masterpiece not-so-much), err in classy aged, fruit accented direction. Personally paired with Hickory planked Salmon (could of used a pinch of fruit & acidity)... simple steak or Portobello also work.
Earmark for Black Cherry & Blackberry season. — 2 months ago
