High alcohol and earthy on the nose. Big up front with Silky finish. Blueberry or blackberry. Medium to high tannins. Let it breathe a bit. — 11 days ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over three days. Better on Day 2 and Day 3. The 2021 pours a deep ruby with near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of red brambles, green bell pepper, tobacco, purple flowers, dry gravely earth, soft baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and satisfying. I don’t drink Pride very often but there is a lot to like. Super consistent. Drink now with some patience but better after 2026 and through 2041 — 9 hours ago
Really good Syrah. Wahluke slope always delivers. With some air this wine opened up beautifully. — 11 days ago
A garnet hue with a ring of ruby red catches your eye at first glance. Lots of red raspberries and black berries followed by dark chocolate, black pepper, oak and prolific earth. Great structure with lively acidity, balanced tannins leaving a zingy finish of black currants and a peppery bite. — a month ago
Deep garnet in color with a nice bouquet of mint and an old closet! Eucalyptus and herbaceous notes support dry blackberry brambles amid nicely evolved tannic structure. This wine remains at its peak of expression. — 10 days ago
