I’m sorry to have judged this wine too early - she is a shy one and takes some time and warmth to open up to her full potential. The wine is a light straw yellow in color. Initial aromas and taste are lemon, lemon zest, lemon pith, with a hint of the roundness of cream. After a while it takes on tertiary wool aromas, soft like a cashmere sweater. The texture is light, restrained, elegant, refined, though not a super long finish. Charming and worth getting to know over the course of an evening.

The Beaujolais has a ruby with purple shades colour. Fine and fruity, the nose awakes with small red fruit aromas. Smooth and soft on the palate, it offers a nice fruity aromatic persistence.
Ideal with delicatessen, roasted pork and poultry. — a year ago

Vinny Brooklyn
More Burgundian than Chablis-like. Not as mineral / sharp, more lush. Better pairing with the sautéed sea bream on Christmas Eve as a result actually. — a month ago
