Excellent earthy, spicy, herbal with this delicious Friuli varietal, Schiopettino. — 5 months ago
Crisp, clean and fresh. One of our favorites from the area. — 12 days ago
Just an absolutely ridiculous wine. As oerfectly integrated and velvety as a good Merlot can be. Weighty yet supple and voluptuous. Spice/tobacco on the back end — perfectly delicious. High alcohol but acidity balances it. — 6 months ago

Friendly DOC Pinot Grigio from Terlato. Nice peach and apricot notes with honeysuckle and pear. Medium body with good balance of acidity. Moderate finish but a good drinker. — 3 months ago
Not your average pinot grigio. Ton of energy. So much minerality. Excellent alongside seafood and the grand canal in Venice. — 5 months ago
Nearly 25 yr old white. Highly oxidative on open but mellowed out and perfectly accompanied halibut with beurre blanc dish at Chez Panisse — 6 months ago

Decanted for 90min prior to service. The 2013 pours, a deep ruby color with a near opaque core; medium viscosity, with light staining of the tears. Small signs of sediment. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart, mostly dark with some red forest fruit: blackberries, black currants, rotting strawberries, a fresh package of red rope licorice, purple flowers, old pennies, and dry, rocky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin(+?) and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. I think this is my first time enjoying a wine made with Tazzelenghe and, if I can help it, will not be my last. Drink now. — 24 days ago
